Who can list
Places to stay in Riebeek Kasteel, Riebeek West and the surrounding Riebeek Valley. A listing goes live automatically once it passes our automatic checks (complete details, at least three photos and a location in the valley). We may take a listing offline or decline it without giving reasons.
Your information
You make sure that your listing is accurate and up to date: description, facilities, number of guests, prices, house rules, cancellation policy and booking link. You can change it at any time in your host dashboard.
You confirm that you have the right to use the photos and texts you send us, and you allow us to publish, crop and translate them on Stay in Riebeek and to use them to promote the site.
Bookings and guests
Guests book with you. You handle availability, payments, deposits, cancellations and the stay itself, and you are responsible for the permits, insurance and tax that apply to your accommodation.
Booking requests sent through the site are forwarded to the email address you give us and are shown in your dashboard. Please reply to guests within one working day.
Reviews
Guests who stayed may be invited to write a review. Every genuine review is published. You cannot remove reviews, but you can post one public reply under each review.
Fees
Listing is free during the launch period. We will tell you at least 30 days before any fee starts, and you can then remove your listing at no cost.
Ending your listing
You can take your listing offline or delete it at any time in your host dashboard. You sign in with a one-time code sent to your e-mail address; keep that mailbox secure, because anyone who can read it can sign in to your account. We may remove a listing that breaks these terms, receives serious complaints or no longer exists.
Personal information
We handle your personal information and that of your guests according to our privacy notice and POPIA. Use guests' details only to handle their booking.
Applicable law
These terms are governed by the law of the Republic of South Africa.
