How Stay in Riebeek works

One site for the places to stay in the valley. How booking works for guests, and how owners can join.

How Stay in Riebeek works

Stay in Riebeek brings together places to stay in Riebeek Kasteel and the Riebeek Valley, from whole houses to garden cottages and lofts. Every stay belongs to someone in the valley.

For guests: each listing shows how to book. Some hosts take bookings on their own website or booking system; then you can book directly through the link on the listing. You can also send a booking request through this site; it goes straight to the host, who replies by email. Availability is shown where the host has connected their calendar.

Besides places to stay, the site gives you the valley itself: a guide to eating, drinking and walking, an events calendar for everything within about an hour's drive, the weather for the coming week and a journal with stories about the valley's past and present.

For owners: sign in on the 'List your home' page with your e-mail address (you get a one-time code, no password), add photos, a description and how guests can book, and your listing goes live as soon as it is complete. You can change it whenever you like and see views and booking requests in your dashboard. You keep your own prices, booking system and guests; the site links to them and can pass booking requests on to your system or email.
